Wings and Horns

One of the things that I learned years ago was this romanticize version of Egypt that doesn't go along with reality. Ever since I started to honor the Egyptian, or Kemetic, gods over seventeen years ago I've seen this vision of Egypt belonging to black people, with black pharaohs, black queens, and a black culture. The Egyptians had no concept of race but modern Egyptians do. And they are nasty with that concept. If blacks in America thinks that white people are raciest, it's nothing to how a lot of modern Egyptians are about blacks. To them blacks represent the lower part of Africa and are connected to dense jungles, savages, and whatever else they think. One woman actually reported that she had been denied her medication due to the color of her skin. Children are taught this nonsense and they grow up with this nonsense. I've decided to move away from Egyptian Wicca and move towards Kemetic Reform. This has been something that I've been thinking about since I started this blog. However, I had enjoyed writing about Egyptian Wicca and practicing it. I'm hoping to do more and to enjoy what I'm doing in the future.

It's been months since I posted anything, but I'm still here. I will be taking more time to post and posting better things. That's all.

Merry Meet! Today marks two years that my blog has been up. One of the things that I didn't like about my blog is the lack of writing. I only write when I realize that I haven't written and that's just not good. I look forward to, hopefully, write more often. But work has been so hectic that I've found myself unable to write. I hope to change that in the future.
